Ben's comments are shocking and eye-opening to me as we are currently trying to impose the apparently restrictive interest rate cap of 36% on this industry in Wisconsin. Payday lenders are fighting with all they got! Now I wonder whether they write such checks to WI legislators' election committees??? Could such a thing be happening? I feel kinda sick...what if it turns out that this is happening right now, right here, in Madison as well as in their home districts?!
Thank you for your comment on the anniversary of the tsunami regarding the existence of a god. I could not have said it better. It gives me comfort to know there are others that feel the way I do.
